One of the most are used important projects  done in the research institute is the design and construction of ROV Kavosh-4 Robot. This design is an underwater robot for special applications, which has been done after conducting 1 to 3 exploration plans and gaining initial experiences in the field of design and construction. This robot is made of various modern technologies such as digital telecommunications, fiber optics, high - sensitivity cameras, advanced sonar, acoustic positioning systems, mechanical arms, etc. . With this project our country has achieved underwater robot technologies for semi-deep waters (more than 100 meters).
