This laboratory, with its numerous sets and experimental devices, provides the ability to test and calibrate internally designed and manufactured equipment and foreign purchased samples. This laboratory is managed according to ISO17025 laboratory management regulations. The system design of this laboratory has been done to achieve the following goals:
- Providing the necessary facilities for short-term and long-term equipment tests
- Focus on nationwide marine characteristics tests, calibration of marine characteristics measurement equipment
- Performing workshop tests before using the equipment in the marine environment, performing hardware and software tests of the equipment simultaneously
- Accelerate troubleshooting of equipment used
- Performing comparative tests of equipment with each other, performing the necessary tests in the form of data collection network
- Perform environmental tests and harsh operating conditions
- Possibility of creating necessary tests after construction and operation of equipment and reviewing any possible changes in modified hardware and software, possibility of research and development in the field of new products
