This test method covers the determination of the electrical conductance of concrete to provide a rapid indication of its resistance to the penetration of chloride ions based on ASTM C1202 or AASHTO T277. The device measures the amount of electrical current passed through concrete samples under 60 V dc potential during 6 hours.
