In these tests, a scaled-down model of marine structures is constructed. The model is installed in a wave tank. The wave maker installed in the wake creates waves with different amplitudes and periods. The effects of these waves on the marine structure model are studied by measuring the amplitude of oscillation of the model and the forces acting on it. Using the hydrodynamics theories and dimensional analysis, the results of the model test will be extended to the real size marine structure.
