Design, Manufacture and Testing of ROV Device (Kavosh-8)

Exploration Project 8 is one of the most important projects carried out at the Submarine Science and Technology Research Institute. This design is an advanced underwater robot of Light Work Class type with facilities for performing inspection and complex underwater operations, Including platform installation operations for items such as Subsea Survey, Underwater Leveling, piping operations and so on. This ROV is made for working at a depth of 400 meters under the sea, which has 4 main sets including the ROV body, The launch system (LARS), garage system (TMS) and control cabin (Control Cabin). In this device, the latest technologies have been used in the design and construction of underwater robots.n By doing this, our country has acquired the technology of underwater robots with special missions for deep water (400 meters).
